Under the direction of the SVP / Information Technology is responsible for the Credit Union's mission by ensuring key business applications-particularly core banking systems and integrated platforms. This role serves as a liaison between business units, IT, and third-party vendors to optimize system functionality, troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and support technology-driven initiatives that improve member and employee experiences.
Primary Responsibilities :
Application Support & Administration
- Serves as a core banking application administrator with responsibilities for configuring, administering, operating, monitoring, maintaining and supporting system and users. Ensures collaboration and communication of system functionality, updates and integrations with vendors, consultants and end users.
- Serve as the primary support resource for related business applications.
- Perform application configuration, data updates, user administration, and system monitoring.
- Troubleshoot application issues, analyze root causes, and resolve or escalate problems as needed.
- Maintain system documentation, workflows, and procedures.
- Help maintain the Credit Union's security posture and cyber security operations by communicating potential risks, assisting with security initiatives, and participating in the Incident Response Program.
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule providing after-hours coverage / support, including weekends, holidays and nights. Irregular hours may be required on occasion based on business needs.
- Manages the core banking application disaster recovery plan and coordinates testing with third party vendors and internal personnel.
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
Partner with business units to understand operational needs and translate them into functional requirements.Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual work, and enhance member service through technology solutions.Develop and maintain business process workflows.Evaluate change requests to ensure feasibility, impact, and alignment with strategic goals.Project Coordination
Assist in planning and implementing system upgrades, new application deployments, integrations, and enhancement projects.Conduct or support user acceptance testing, training, and post-launch support.Coordinate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and IT teams to meet project timelines and requirements.Compliance & Security
Support adherence to security policies, regulatory requirements (NCUA, FFIEC, BSA / AML), and data governance standards.Assist with audit requests, documentation, and system reviews.Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and credit union technology trends.Position Requirements :
Associates degree in Information Systems Management or Computer Science or equivalent and 2 years of experience.Strong knowledge of Microsoft products, data communication, PCs and core banking applications.Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, systems, software, hardware, telecommunications and procedures within IT.Ability to solve problems using resourcefulness and ingenuity.Able to independently learn new technologies and processes quickly and thoroughly.Ability to set priorities and be flexible in a fast paced environment.Ability to work in a team oriented environment.Ability to work independently with accuracy and detail.Have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, reliable and service oriented.Have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with end-users and management to communicate in clear, understandable and concise terms.Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.Benefits :

In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, we're pleased to share that the base salary range for this position is $74,500 - $93,500 , excluding fringe benefits or potential incentives. If you're hired at Rockland Federal Credit Union, your final base pay will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and experience. We also take pay equity seriously and consider the internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please note that the range provided reflects the full base pay for this role. We also offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package designed to support your overall well-being and success.
