A company is looking for a Database Administrator - Remote US.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform database capacity planning, installation, configuration, design, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, and backup operations
Act as a subject matter expert for data management, providing best practices and troubleshooting support to internal and external teams
Plan and execute data migration plans and proactively recommend improvements for data systems
Required Qualifications :
Post-secondary degree in computer science or a related field with 5-10 years of experience in database administration or related areas
Extensive experience with relational and non-relational database technologies (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Minimum 3 years of experience with a Cloud Database Service (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure PostgreSQL)
Advanced knowledge of database security and performance monitoring standards
Experience with data warehousing technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) is a plus
