Summary :
Responsible for providing therapeutic clinical services in the mode of applied behavior analysis (ABA) in assigned clinical area, for providing integrated parent education regarding ABA interventions, for participating in program development and implementation, for providing behavioral consultation to schools and community resources as needed for patient care and follow-up, and for supervising registered behavior therapist, students and / or trainees in the delivery of ABA services.
Responsibilities :
- Assess patient needs through clinical interviews, behavioral observations, chart / history review, and direct patient / family interaction; design and implement ABA treatment plans, including individual, group, classroom, and / or family behavior interventions; evaluate and document patient progress; provide parent education and supportive training regarding ABA therapy interventions; and consult with members of the multidisciplinary team to develop optimal treatment plans for patients requiring ABA based interventions as part of their care
- Participate in duties pertinent to the ABA program, including involvement in multi-disciplinary intake and triage meetings, interaction with referral programs and collaborating agencies, and coordination of patient care; develop / utilize appropriate outcome measures to evaluate patient progress in targeted behavioral intervention areas; provide community and family education and consultation around ABA interventions
- Provide direct supervision to registered behavioral therapists, students, and / or trainees who are providing ABA therapy and / or participating in research or outcome measure initiatives
- Ability to meet physical and non-physical demands as outlined in the job description is an essential function of the job
- Participate in other duties and / or special projects as applicable, including program development and program implementation under the direction of the Director and other multidisciplinary staff

At least 1 year job related experience requiredAt least 1 year post-BCBA experience preferredEDUCATION
Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience In Applied Behavior Analysis, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or counselingLICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Current Texas Behavioral Analyst license upon hire requiredBasic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association as required by CP 1.20 Life Support Course Requirements requiredJOB PROFILE
