About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Logistics to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain of the Take Back Business, with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing a reverse logistics network that is both cost-effective and environmentally sustainable. This includes overseeing the entire process from the moment a take-back bag is shipped to its return journey, and continuously improving the system to meet the company's growth and sustainability goals. The role involves strategic planning, managing relationships with major carriers and fulfillment partners, and ensuring that operations are optimized for both cost and environmental impact.

Applicants for the Vice President of Logistics position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of leadership experience in logistics, supply chain management, or reverse logistics, with a proven track record in managing reverse logistics networks. The role requires deep relationships or experience with major carriers and 3PLs, expertise in contract negotiation, and a strong analytical skill set. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing hub strategies or distributed fulfillment networks and be adept at translating logistics data into actionable strategies. A key aspect of the role is to ensure that all logistics operations meet environmental standards, regulatory requirements, and data integrity practices, while also establishing KPIs to track efficiency, cost savings, customer satisfaction, and sustainability outcomes.
