Open schedule is preferred; weekends and holidays are necessary. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.; stand, bend, reach, twist, and turn for up to 4 hours continuously. Piazza's Fine Foods (www.piazzasfinefoods.com), an upscale, family-owned grocery store, is seeking part time / full time deli clerks for our Spanish friendly Deli Department in the San Mateo store.

Example of Duties We are looking for customer service gurus, who can work quickly to keep up with our fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks, including :
- Custom-order sandwich preparation Slicing deli meats Preparing meats and vegetables for cooking Overseeing hot food and salad bars Preparing and displaying food Operating various types of mixing, frying, and baking equipment The Deli Clerk may be assigned to perform other tasks in addition to those listed.
