Floor Technician (Floor Tech)

The Floor Technician at Lemontree Healthcare is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of all floors throughout the facility. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the facility's infection control measures by ensuring that floors are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and polished according to established protocols. The Floor Technician will use a variety of floor care equipment, chemicals, and techniques to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in patient care areas, public spaces, and staff areas.

Job Type : Full-time

Schedule : Monday-Friday & every other weekend

Shift : 3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm

Key Responsibilities :

• Floor Cleaning & Maintenance :

Sweep, mop, buff, and strip floors in patient rooms, hallways, dining areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces.

Strip, wax, and polish floors in high-traffic areas to ensure a clean and professional appearance.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use.

Inspect floors regularly to identify damage or wear and report any issues (e.g., cracks, chips) to the Environmental Services Supervisor.

Maintain an inventory of floor cleaning supplies and equipment.

Work closely with other Environmental Services team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient floor care management.

Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed, including removing trash and cleaning high-touch surfaces in common areas.

Qualifications :

Previous experience in floor care, janitorial services, or environmental services is preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, tools, and products.

Strong work ethic and reliability.
