The City of Peoria Public Works Department is looking for a Custodian to work the night shift, within the City of Peoria’s Facilities Division. The job requires high physical demands to include cleaning and room setups to consist of lifting tables and chairs (10-25 pounds). Custodians must be flexible with working in multiple work environments throughout the City. Daily tasks include moving from one building to the next.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Previous experience in a government or municipal setting.
• Experience using a work order system like Infor/Hansen.
• Ability to order and maintain supplies.
• Work independently and in a team atmosphere.
• Experience with custodial equipment (floor scrubber, carpet extractor, & floor buffer)
