Materials Handler II-Central Processing- ID : 51000

Summary :

This position is responsible for ensuring that customer supplies are accurately and efficiently processed and delivered to satisfactorily meet the customer need in a safe manner. Key responsibilities include : Designing, establishing, and managing assigned PAR locations; includes counting, monitoring, and adjusting PAR levels and reorder information. Maintain constant and effective communication with assigned units to understand supply needs based on current and future patient population. Effectively use supply information systems technology to proactively identify potential problems in the PAR locations. Receiving. Stocking. Picking. Delivering. Serving as the department’s Customer Service representative. Providing and / or assisting with the training of coworkers and volunteers. Demonstrates a positive attitude and leadership at all times. Supports and participates in efforts to successfully implement supply chain changes to improve processes and reduce costs. Knows and follows all Baptist Health and government policies and regulations. Is cross trained on all departmental duties; providing needed back up coverage. This position may also be assigned special projects and given updated assignments.

1. Education & Experience :

A. High school diploma or GED is required.

B. At least 2 yrs of experience in Supply Chain preferred; relevant health care experience preferred.

C. Candidate must be willing to attend needed education and training required to successfully fulfill job duties.

D. Ability to pass required system competency tests.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
