How will you contribute to the team?

• Applies knowledge of the National Flood Insurance Program, Risk MAP, and Community Rating System (CRS) by providing communications, training, and technical support to clients and community stakeholders for FEMA Regional offices and state / community clients. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of floodplain management, hazard mitigation, and risk communication principles as well as demonstrated experience authoring related publications.
• Supporting the floodplain management, training, outreach, and special projects lead, duties include technical writing; document publication and editing; audio / video editing; NFIP-related technical assistance; ordinance review; SharePoint site administration; database maintenance; and training coordination, facilitation, development, and delivery.

Expected compensation range is between $80,000 - $110,000 annually OR $38.00 - $53.00 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.

Upon acceptance of an offer, all candidates must go through a drug screen test and background check. AtkinsRéalis is a federal contractor which mandates a satisfactory background screening report and drug test that supersedes state laws.
