You will be working for the Facilities / Works Department based onsite at HMYOI Askham Grange. This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level administrator eager to grow their career in administration. This is a full-time ongoing temporary role which may go permanent for the right person.
Your new role
You will be the main administrative support to managers and supervisors within the department.
Responsible for filing awaypliance-related documents, logging jobs and actions into the internal system
Email correspondence, answering calls and transferring them to the right departments
Escorting external contractors around the site safely.
Liaising with contractors on-site
As the role is based in a small team, you may be required to supervise in management's absence.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have previous admin experience.
Experience with using Excel and Word
You must be able to pass a full prison vetting process.
You must be able to provide 2 recent employment references (or 1 if that is all you have had in the last 3 years)
