Salary :

JOB PURPOSE : The Food Services Team Member is a skilled cook that assists in preparing meals according to the menu. An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. Must be skillful around the kitchen and able to multi-task. Experience in preparing meals from scratch and in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Sets up workstations with all needed ingredients a cooking equipment.
• Prepares ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.).
• Cooks food using various utensils or grillers.
• Checks food while cooking to stir or turn.
• Keeps their workstation sanitized and orderly in the kitchen.
• Ensures all food and other items are stored properly.
• Checks quality of ingredients.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Preparing meals from scratch
