Refrigeration Technical Sales Representative (Metropolitan New York City)

Salary: $125,000-$150,000 salary + commissions

Products include unit coolers (evaporators), condensing units, air-cooled condensers, multi-compressor systems, & other specialty refrigeration products. From the smallest unit to the very largest, KeepRite Refrigeration brings experience and commitment to the refrigeration industry - beginning with the product design and engineering, and continuing through manufacturing, sales and aftermarket support.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technical Sales Representative to develop and grow our presence in the Metropolitan New York City area. This role involves selling our commercial refrigeration products to wholesalers, manufacturers, contractors, and supermarket designers/specifiers by travelling within the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical refrigeration background and industry-related sales and application experience. Applicants must have a valid US Passport as well as the ability to freely travel between the USA & Canada for training purposes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Respond to sales or customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Design refrigeration systems and select equipment based on parameters supplied or industry standards
• Prepare quotations and write up and follow orders to completion
• Offer technical support/trouble-shooting expertise for field issues
• Solicit sales of commercial refrigeration products
• Support the sales efforts of the KeepRite Refrigeration Wholesalers
• Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts
  
• Report market trends, competitive activities, and specific customer requirements
  
• Liaison between contractors, customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing groups
  
• Participate in activities of business and industry associations
  
• Perform other duties as assigned
