As a Security Guard - Government Evening Patrols in ORLANDO, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and offering exceptional customer service and communication, contributing to a secure environment. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.93 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon 05 : 00 AM - 01 : 00 PM

Sat 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Assist in controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
  • Support emergency response protocols and assist with evacuations or other procedures as needed.
  • Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
