Resort Director of Finance

The award-winning is looking for a Director of Finance. Located in the beautiful Golden Isles, This is a rare opportunity - this role doesn't come open often. The Director of Finance oversees the financial and accounting operations of the resort and golf course including retail sales and events. Additional responsibilities include reporting for the Condo Association. This position requires an accounting professional who has in-depth knowledge of Uniform Systems of Accounts for the Lodging Industry; can communicate effectively to both team members and leadership; is able to lead the annual budgeting process and oversees all aspects of accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and revenue.

The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience leading an accounting team at a large resort as a Controller or Finance Director; be a great communicator and can develop team members while being available as needed including some weekends and evenings. Additional preferred qualifications include at least three (3) years of experience working with M3 CORE and INSIGHT and a CPA or CHAE designation.
