Position Summary :
The Quality Assurance (QA) Associate is responsible for ensuring that all products meet company and customer quality standards before during and after production. This role involves performing inspections monitoring processes and documenting results to maintain compliance with safety quality and production requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented dependable and committed to maintaining a high standard of product quality.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform routine quality checks on raw materials in-process and finished goods.
Inspect products and packaging to verify they meet company and customer specifications.
Document inspection results accurately using forms checklists or electronic systems.
Report and assist in identifying non-conforming products and coordinate with production teams for corrective actions.
Monitor production lines to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Assist with audits equipment calibration checks and compliance reporting.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing process enhancements.
Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety guidelines.
Qualifications :
Experience : 12 years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse or quality assurance role preferred.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in quality assurance a plus.
Skills :
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret production specifications labels and quality standards.
Basic computer literacy (data entry Microsoft Office or WMS systems).
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Capable of lifting up to 3050 lbs as needed.
Comfortable working in a production or warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Schedule and amp; Pay :
Shifts Available : 1st 2nd or 3rd Shift
Pay Range : $18.00 $19.00 per hour (based on experience and shift assignment)
