Core responsibilities
- Interpret job orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine machining approach.
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis equipment using CAD-driven programs.
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections; verify all features meet conformance standards.
- Adhere to all specifications outlined in drawings and work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy.
- Complete routine machine maintenance to sustain performance.
- Document and conduct quality checks throughout production.
- Collaborate with teammates to meet schedules and delivery targets.
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area per company safety policies.
Qualifications
Proven ability to set up and run CNC equipment (mills, lathes, or multi-axis).Strong blueprint / engineering drawing interpretation skills.Experience with precision measurement tools and common shop equipment.Mechanical aptitude with solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Basic knowledge of CAD / CAM and CNC controls preferred.High school diploma or equivalent; technical / trade school credentials a plus.Physical requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.Stand for extended periods in a production environment.Use hands / fingers frequently for tools, equipment, and materials.Schedule and pay
Full-time; typical Monday–Friday schedule with occasional overtime.Compensation based on experience and skill level; competitive benefits available.Work Schedule
B Shift — Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6 : 00 a.m. – 6 : 00 p.m.
Pay depends on experience; weekend shift includes a 10% pay increase.
