Overview :
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Event Contractor to support the planning and execution of community meetups and small-scale events in the San Francisco area. This role involves coordinating logistics end-to-end, ensuring smooth event operations, and delivering an exceptional attendee experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, coordinate, and execute local meetups and community events.
- Source and secure event venues, vendors, and catering as needed.
- Manage event logistics, including setup, on-site coordination, attendee check-in, and teardown.
- Oversee event timelines, budgets, and milestone planning.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to align on event goals and requirements.
- Coordinate event materials such as signage, swag, badges, and equipment.
- Oversee RSVPs, attendee communications, and post-event follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate documentation of event expenses and vendor invoices.
- Troubleshoot event-day issues and ensure a seamless experience for attendees.
Requirements :
Proven experience in event planning, meetup management, or event operations.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple events simultaneously.Excellent communication and vendor negotiation skills.Comfortable with on-site, hands-on work during events.Familiarity with tools like Eventbrite, Google Workspace, and basic project management platforms is a plus.
