Senior Estimator

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior / Chief Estimator to lead the estimating department for a well-established commercial landscape construction firm operating in the Inland Empire region . The Estimator will oversee all pre-construction estimating activities, ensure accurate and competitive bids, and support strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare, review, and approve detailed cost estimates for commercial landscape construction projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and RFPs to determine scope and estimate requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Oversee bid strategies, value engineering options, and risk assessments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Implement and improve estimating procedures, tools, and best practices.
• Collaborate with operations and project management teams to support seamless project handoff.
