Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 to support in the leadership of the child nutrition program at Mount Vernon City School District in Mount Vernon, NY. In this role, you'll do more than manage operationsyou'll inspire teams, create positive dining experiences, and help shape the health and success of students. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference by creating positive dining experiences and supporting student success through healthy, nutritious meals.

What You'll Do

Have shared oversight of day-to-day operations while delivering high-quality food services

Achieve company and client financial targets and goals

Develop and maintain client and customer relationships

Develop strategic plans

Create a positive environment while ensuring Sodexo standards are met

What You Bring

Have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience, and the ability to work collaboratively

Have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance

Can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service

Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC) and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
