About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Neurocritical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 4-day locum tenens assignment in Arkansas. This opportunity begins Dec 28, 2025, and offers nighttime 12-hour shifts (7p-7a) providing coverage for a Neuro ICU, including New Years coverage.

Job Details

  • Location : Arkansas
  • Start Date : Dec 28, 2025
  • LOA : 4 days
  • Provider Type Needed : Neurocritical Care Nurse Practitioner
  • Schedule : 7p-7a, Dec 28 through Jan 1; four consecutive 12-hour night shifts

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide nighttime coverage for a Neuro ICU
  • Manage care for critically ill and high-acuity patients
  • Oversee cases including stroke, brain / head trauma, aneurysm, and encephalitis
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
  • Document clinical assessments and interventions according to facility standards

    • Additional Information

  • Must have active AR NP license
  • Must have critical care experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification required
  • Board certification not required for this assignment
