Clinical Genomics Operations Specialist

A company is looking for a Lab Operational Excellence Specialist to enhance efficiency and quality in clinical genomics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and report on turnaround time (TAT) metrics, developing dashboards for performance analysis

Implement continuous process improvement initiatives using Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma principles

Manage and maintain documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in genetics or equivalent; advanced degree holders encouraged to apply

1-7 years of prior experience in clinical genetics or a related field, depending on rank

Certification in Six Sigma or equivalent programs is preferred for senior ranks

Foundational understanding of next-generation sequencing or molecular sequencing techniques

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Jira is preferred
