Childcare Worker

I-CAN Kids is the non-profit child recreation program at Arrow Ford. I-CAN Kids offers a no-cost childcare option for Arrow employees for school-aged children. The I-CAN Kids program was created in response to the difficulty of finding safe and reliable childcare for dealership staff who work later in the evenings or on Saturdays. I-CAN Kids teachers create a safe and engaging environment for our staff's children to enjoy after school, on Saturdays, and on school holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Help oversee a daily census of up to 25 school aged children
• Follow and contribute to the curriculum outlined by the I-CAN Kids Director
• Maintain a safe environment for staff and children alike
• Foster positive relationships between I-CAN Kids children, staff, parents, and all Arrow Ford leadership
• Follow all state, local, and organizational policies and regulations

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• CPR training strongly preferred - resources available to get certified once hired
• Availability to work evenings and Saturdays
• Ability to pass all pre-employment testing including background check and drug screening

I Can Kids operates during the following hours:

• After School Hours:
  • Monday-Friday: 2:30 PM- 6:30 PM
• Saturday Hours:
  • Saturday: 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM
• AISD Early Release Days:
  • 1:00 PM - 6:30 PM
• Summer, Holiday Breaks & AISD Work Days:
  • Monday-Saturday: 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Important note: Applicants are not expected to work all open hours, but must be available to work during any of these times. Individual schedules will vary based on staffing needs and availability.
