Key Responsibilities
Lead all accounting and control functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and compliance with SEC requirements
Maintain an effective enterprise‑wide system of internal controls and oversee SOX compliance
Develop and implement harmonized financial reporting systems, policies, procedures, and controls across the organization
Oversee external reporting, subsidiary accounting, tax compliance, and statutory filings
Ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards
Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on accounting, reporting controls, and the financial implications of business initiatives or transactions
Participate in financial due diligence, integration activities, and quality‑of‑earnings assessments tied to M&A activity
Support capital market filings and interactions with external auditors
Maintain and enhance ERP systems and financial technology infrastructure
Lead modernization efforts to improve efficiency and streamline financial processes
Oversee tax planning, reporting, and collaboration with operations on indirect tax matters
Build, develop, and mentor a high‑performing accounting team
Education & Qualifications
15+ years of progressive accounting leadership, including significant experience in a public‑company environment
Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, IFRS, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance
Active U.S. CPA required
Big 4 experience strongly preferred
Experience leading accounting operations at scale and modernizing systems / ERP solutions
Proven ability to partner with executive leadership, auditors, and Audit Committees
Strong communication, organizational, and decision‑making skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and uphold high professional standards
