Job Title : Network Engineer IV DOCSIS / WiFi

Location : Englewood CO

Work Type : Onsite (4 days / week)

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer IV with strong expertise in DOCSIS and / or WiFi technologies . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cable network infrastructure CPE devices firmware / log analysis and advanced troubleshooting in lab and production environments.

Required Skills & Experience :

• Hands-on experience with DOCSIS 3.0 3.1 and 4.0
• Strong experience with CPE DOCSIS devices and network infrastructure
• Hands-on knowledge of AIDMA and OFDMA
• Solid understanding of RF fundamentals
• Experience with :
• Cable Modem configuration files
• CPE DOCSIS (CM) CMTS iCMTS
• Wi-Fi firmware log analysis and CPE operations
• Ability to identify modem-related issues and perform :
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Device and performance analysis
• Experience building and validating network testing labs (switches PDUs modems ONUs)
• Strong Linux experience :
• Jump boxes Bash scripting
• SSH key authentication
• Developer and diagnostic tooling
• Programming / scripting experience with :
• Python Perl Shell
• SQL
• REST APIs
• Comfortable working in Linux-based environments
• Strong experience with Wi-Fi firmware connectivity and log analysis
• In-depth understanding of WiFi protocols and behavior
• Experience supporting CPE operations and WiFi devices
