Responsibilities :
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory accounting, and general ledger management.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to deliver accurate and timely financial reports.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports for management review.
- Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Perform cost accounting tasks, including standard cost development, margin analysis, and bill of materials review.
- Coordinate and communicate with external auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes.
- Supervise tax compliance and filings, collaborating with external tax advisors when necessary.
- Optimize financial workflows and systems, including Business Central, to improve efficiency and troubleshooting.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to create financial models, dashboards, and reports that support strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive long-term financial planning, capital investment strategies, and operational improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Controller or senior accounting manager, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, cost accounting principles, and inventory management.
- Hands-on expertise with Business Central or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and complex functions.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with a track record of improving processes and delivering actionable financial insights.
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation.
