Warehouse Operator
Operate as first point of escalation ensuring production and quality standards are met and maintained.
Operate powered equipment ex. fork truck and crane moving heavy bulky parts
Maintain metrics including, but not limited to, throughput, quality
Performs quality checks on work being performed
Maintain safety, quality, methods and output.
Keeps supervision informed of work plans, status, and employee performance
Promote company policies and all safety requirements
Promote, encourage and set examples of positive distributed teamwork.
Assists the supervisor in conducting regular safety meetings as required.
Ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment.
Drive improvement / change throughout.
Must be able to analyze and problem solve
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong multi-tasker with a clear ability to work on own initiative; must be able to think and act with consideration and appreciation.
Leadership and coaching skills essential
Experience in shipping, receiving, material handling and in warehouse / stockroom environment
Ability to work independently and in teams
A combination of formal education, training and experience to acquire knowledge and skill of SAP, MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
