Accounting Manager
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Fort Worth, Texas. This role requires someone with advanced accounting expertise, particularly in reconciliations and data analysis, as well as proficiency in managing debt and interest expense accruals. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong analytical skills while working with large datasets using Excel.
Responsibilities :
- Perform detailed reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with standards.
- Manage and book debt and interest expense accruals with precision and timeliness.
- Handle cash entries associated with securitization certificates and maintain accurate records.
- Analyze complex financial data and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve discrepancies in accounting records.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions, including formulas and large workbook management, for data analysis and reporting.
- Support audit processes by preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Work independently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Leverage accounting software systems to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the accounting department.
