Responsibilities for Sterile Processing Technician

  • Knowledge of Surgical Instruments, patient equipment, and medical-surgical supplies.
  • Monitor and operate sterilization equipment
  • Sterilize, prepare, wrap, and organize equipment into instrument trays for use during medical procedures
  • Test and report any issues or problems with the sterilization equipment

Qualifications for Sterile Processing Technician

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Certified via the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management or the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
  • 1-2 Years of experience as a Sterile Processing Tech
  • Experienced using Autoclave and Steris Cleaning
  • Passion for keeping people safe
  • Technical skills and familiarity with sterilization techniques
  • Ability to work well in a team or independently
  • CPR

    • Salary : $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
