A leading healthcare setting in Tulare is currently seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join their growing team.

About the Opportunity :

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Schedule : Part time (1 day a week - can be any day)
  • Hours : 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct oral health assessments.
  • Review / screen oral health conditions, including health history, oral cancer screenings, head / neck inspection, dental charting, blood pressure / pulse.
  • Take dental radiographs and impressions, and pour models.
  • Perform all preventative and hygiene services per California Dental Practice Act.
  • Remove calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the dentition.
  • Polish and contour restorations.
  • Apply preventative materials to teeth, including sealants and fluoride.
  • Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies (brushing, flossing, nutritional counseling).

    • Qualifications :

  • Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of California.

    • Desired Skills :

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
