Summary:

Cherry Hills Country Club is hiring CampZone counselors for the summer of 2026.

CampZone counselors are responsible for providing a safe and fun environment for campers. Counselors must be knowledgeable about camp activities, policies, and procedures, and have the ability to effectively manage groups of children.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise campers throughout the day and ensure they are participating in activities safely.
• Enforce camp rules and regulations, and encourage positive behavior.
• Lead and monitor various camp activities, such as recreational sports, arts and crafts, field trips, and more.
• Develop and maintain relationships with campers and their parents.
• Assist in providing and monitoring meals and snacks for campers.
• Assist in resolving conflicts between campers.
• Provide support and guidance to campers.
• Assist with daily camp set-up and clean-up.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a camp setting
• Ability to work with children of various ages and backgrounds
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to remain energetic and enthusiastic throughout the day
• Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and effective manner
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification preferred

Compensation:

This is a seasonal position offered at $18 per hour with a typical work week of Monday-Thursday from 7:30am-3:30pm.

• Sick pay up to 48 hours a year - accrued based on hours worked
