Surgery Scheduler

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.

We are seeking a temp-to-hire Surgery Scheduler to support our busy ENT Surgery Center in San Pedro, CA.

Job Type: Full-time, TEMPORARY

Pay: $21-27 per hour

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 hours shift

DUTIES:

A typical day will include coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures for ENT providers across multiple facilities while ensuring all provider orders, required documentation, and insurance authorizations are complete and accurate. This role involves communicating surgery dates, pre-operative instructions, testing requirements, and follow-up plans to patients, as well as answering questions related to surgical preparation and recovery. The Surgery Scheduler serves as a key liaison between patients, providers, hospitals, and anesthesiology teams, maintains accurate scheduling records and timely updates in the EHR, coordinates referrals and pre-operative testing, and manages schedule changes, cancellations, and reschedules promptly and professionally while meeting all documentation timelines. This is a full-time, temporary position with the potential to transition into a permanent role.
