Billing Clerk Position

Ongoing opportunities for billing clerks. As a billing clerk, you will be responsible for processing bills, preparing journal entries of adjustments to billings, and communicating with customers regarding billing adjustments. Invoice Generation :

  • Generate and prepare invoices for products or services rendered to customers.
  • Ensure that invoices are accurate, complete, and comply with company policies and customer agreements.

Data Entry and Accuracy :

  • Enter billing information into the accounting or billing system accurately.
  • Verify and cross-check details such as product or service descriptions, quantities, and pricing.

    • Customer Communication :

  • Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and overdue payments.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns related to billing.

    • Payment Processing :

  • Record and process customer payments, including checks, credit card payments, and electronic transfers.
  • Reconcile payments received with the corresponding invoices.

    • Record Keeping and Documentation :

  • Maintain organized and detailed records of customer transactions and billing activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation of billing-related communications and resolutions.

    • Statement Generation :

  • Generate and distribute periodic statements to customers.
  • Include relevant details such as outstanding balances, due dates, and payment instructions.

    • Requirements :

  • Must have excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have at least 1+ years of billing experience.
  • In addition, candidates must have excellent customer service skills when speaking to clients and customers about their billing and invoicing questions.
