About the role

As a Platform Engineer at Athena Intelligence, you'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining the foundation of Olympus and Athena, our core AI technologies that power our suite of AI-native applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI and enterprise software, creating the robust infrastructure and systems that enable our Product Engineers to develop cutting-edge AI-native applications.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the core infrastructure and services that form the backbone of Olympus and Athena, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Build and optimize the underlying systems that enable seamless integration of AI models into our platforms, supporting the work of our Product Engineers.
• Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and data pipelines that facilitate efficient data processing, analysis, and AI model operations.
• Develop advanced RAG systems including optimized embeddings and indexing.
• Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards to protect sensitive enterprise data.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and data scientists to create efficient frameworks for AI model deployment and management within our platforms.
• Continuously improve the development and deployment processes, focusing on automation, monitoring, and observability.
• Deploy on customer networks, including AWS GovCloud, ensuring secure and compliant installations.
• Work closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to understand client needs and provide the necessary platform capabilities to support AI-native application development.
• Work with Product Engineers to provide building blocks for creating exceptional AI-native user experiences.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the long-term technical vision of our platforms.
