Project Manager / General Contractor – Parsons Strategic Capital (PSC) - Development Fund Location : Greater Boston and surrounding markets Compensation : Salary and performance-based participation up to 20 percent Start Date : Immediate About the Organization Parsons Strategic Capital is launching an equity-driven development fund focused on acquiring, renovating, and repositioning single-family and multifamily properties throughout Massachusetts and surrounding markets. The platform is supported by PSC’s established private lending operations, which provide consistent capital, efficient decision-making, and the ability to execute on opportunities with speed and confidence. Position Overview The general contractor will oversee renovation and construction activities across the fund’s projects. This position is intended for a capable self-starter who can manage multiple sites, maintain strong communication with ownership, and help establish a streamlined, repeatable project delivery system as the fund grows. Primary Responsibilities
- Manage all construction and renovation work across active projects
- Prepare scopes of work, budgets, and project schedules
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, permitting, and inspections
- Maintain detailed documentation and communication throughout each project
- Ensure consistent quality, cost control, and timely completion
- Provide construction insight during acquisition and feasibility reviews. Additional Responsibilities
- Provide construction oversight on select Parsons Commercial Group (affiliate commercial real estate company) projects as needed
- Assist with scopes, budgeting, and contractor coordination for PCG-managed properties
- Support inspections, walk-throughs, and punch-list management on designated commercial assignments
- Offer construction insight during PCG acquisition evaluations when requested Candidate Profile
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in residential construction or project management
- Strong understanding of trades, building codes, and residential renovation workflows
- Proven ability to manage several projects at once while maintaining organization and accountability
- Comfortable operating in a growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Interested in long-term involvement and performance-based participation
- Bachelor’s degree and CSL are preferred but not required Compensation and Participation The compensation structure includes a competitive base salary ($110,000 - $130,000) and the opportunity to earn up to 20 percent in ownership of the fund tied to project performance and overall annual volume. Participation is designed to reward successful execution and the long-term growth of the development platform and vests over the tenure in the position.
