Local Team Collaboration :

  • Lead our hospital medicine team at Oak Valley District Hospital.

Qualifications :

  • Board certified / eligible in internal medicine or family medicine with inpatient experience.
  • Procedural skills are preferred but at a minimum.
  • Ideal medical director candidates have at least 2 years of experience, are ABIM certified, and have a leadership background.

    • Practice in the Heart of the Community

    Scheduling :

  • Shifts for the day position are scheduled from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM.
  • Full-time : Enjoy a consistent 7-on, 7-off schedule, offering built-in time to recharge.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • The hospital includes 30 med / surg beds and a 12-bed ED
  • Day rounding includes Rapid Response and Code Blues.
  • If intubations are required, then the ED physician will assist.
  • Night coverage is provided by Telemed MD.
  • Radiology, including CT / Ultrasound and MRI, is available during daytime hours
  • Specialty services include : Anesthesiology, Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Mobile Crisis Psych, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Wound Care

  • This area’s attractions include Woodward Reservoir, Cowboy Museum, Orange Blossom Recreation Area, and Greger Basin
  • The natural beauty of Oakdale is unbeatable! The Stanislaus River and the Sierra Nevada foothills are close by. Also, this area is considered the gateway to Yosemite National Park, Dodge Ski Resort, and Stanislaus National Forest.

    Rewards and Benefits :

  • Compensation : W2 Compensation range is $360k- $400k if working 182 clinical shifts annually.

    • Quality bonus and productivity bonus eligibility in addition to base compensation.
