Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Founding Engineer (Frontend leaning) - Crypto - this is a hybrid role in San Francisco.

In a few years, the whole world will pause for a moment every day to see who just became a billionaire. We'd love for you to join us in bringing the world’s largest jackpot to life. We are already crypto's largest with a daily million dollar prize and $50M+ in jackpots run.

The global lottery market is $355 billion with 57% of Americans buying a ticket every year. Yet, lotteries are primarily offline due to local regulations and sales through physical stores. We leverage blockchain immutability, composability, and liquidity for global compliance and online sales.

Our protocol uniquely bootstraps a big jackpot with a novel liquidity provider mechanism, and returns 10x more to players compared to traditional lotteries. Our developer platform enables anyone to easily sell tickets, with third-party apps having driven the majority of sales.

We haven’t announced publicly, but we’ve raised $5M from Tier 1 crypto investors, plus founders of the world’s largest iGaming brands and protocols with $10B+ in TVL.

Your Role

As a frontend-leaning fullstack engineer, you will lead our first-party app and developer experience for third-party apps.

Building a mobile web app that even your mom can use. You’ll make the app welcoming (we love this article), performant for users in emerging countries, and abstract away crypto.

Building SDKs for developers. You'll work with apps already embedding our jackpot (eg. Telegram mini app), remixing our protocol (eg. auto-subscription), and issuing tickets as incentives (eg. sign up bonus). We have significant demand from crypto casinos too.

A scalable interface to be adapted across dApps, wallets, and chains. You’ll lead expansion across EVM chains, TON, and Solana, mini apps on Telegram and World, all settling in one global jackpot.

Build backend infrastructure such as an onchain points system, work with payment providers, and push the boundaries of account abstraction

As part of the founding team, you will be involved in all aspects of building this company.

Active partner on strategy, product, design, go-to-market, compliance, etc. You will wear many hats and own work streams that you have no domain expertise in.

Immediately help with hiring to build the company and culture you want.

Requirements

1+ years as a tech lead or EM

5+ years as a software engineer

Experience building apps at scale (1M+ users)

Experience working at a startup

Compensation and Benefits

We offer higher salary and equity than comparable startups :

Salary : $150k to 225k

Equity : 1.5 to 3%+, with 7 year exercise window

Compensation & Package
