Traveling CNA

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Traveling Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This position requires travel during the week to rural communities to cover open shifts as needed. You will not be required to work weekends but must have availablility to travel during the week. Duties include but are not limited to :

Travel anywhere in our service area to cover open shifts as needed

Able to work with a wide variety of clients and levels of care without introduction to clients (a verbal report of the client needs will be done on the phone and there will be access to care plans )

Assist client with activities of daily living that allow individuals the opportunity to stay in their home as long as possible, such as bathing, toileting, dressing and personal hygiene

Assist with ambulation and transfer of clients with or without adaptive equipment

Remind clients to take medications

Assist with housekeeping, transportation and errands

Plan and prepare meals, assist with feeding and assist with kitchen clean up

Provide socialization and companionship

All other duties outlined in client care plan

Qualifications :

Must be able to travel among our four agencies and rural communities

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position

Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English

This position involves driving to clients' homes / apartments; this is a community based role. Employees are compensated for drive time between client locations. A valid drivers license and car insurance is REQUIRED.
