Geospatial Database Administrator

Overview

The Geospatial Database Administrator (GDBA) specializes in PostgreSQL and Oracle database management to support geospatial data systems critical to Air Force missions. The GDBA is responsible for maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of geospatial databases, with a focus on implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) quarterly. The role also includes leading efforts to migrate Oracle databases to PostgreSQL, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) standards.

Work Environment :

• Location : Scott Air Force Base - Belleville, IL (This is not a remote position)
• Security Clearance : Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Secret or higher-level security clearance.
• Travel
