Job Summary :

The Business Analyst will work on fast-paced projects to gather requirements for a web-based application automating a paper-driven process. The role involves creating documentation, UI / UX mockups, test plans, and user training materials. The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-friendly, and able to analyze complex business processes.

Location : Washington, District of Columbia, United States

Responsibilities :

  • Gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Creating user interface / user experience mockups, workflows, use cases, and user stories.
  • Developing user documentation for training purposes.
  • Writing test plans and test scripts.
  • Conducting various testing activities.
  • Analyzing complex business processes and workflows to propose improvements.

Required Skills & Certifications :

  • 5 years of experience with SDLC including Agile methodology.
  • 5 years of experience developing documentation including BRD, FRD, Use Cases, and User Stories.
  • 5 years of experience developing UI / UX mockups and workflows using Visio and other design tools (Adobe XD preferred).
  • 5 years of experience gathering and interpreting relevant information via interviews, observation, surveys, meetings, and reading manuals / documentation.
  • 5 years of experience writing test plans and test scripts and conducting various testing.
  • 5 years of experience analyzing complex business processes and workflows to propose improvements.
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent study.

    • Preferred Skills & Certifications :

  • 5 years of experience creating user training manuals and conducting user training and demos.
  • 4 years of customer service / end user support / helpdesk support experience.

    • Special Considerations :

  • Absences greater than two weeks must be approved in advance, and contact information must be provided.
  • The resource may be dismissed if they do not return to work by the agreed-upon date.
  • Fingerprinting and a full state & federal background check will be completed.
  • Travel within NJ is required and not reimbursed.
  • One hour unpaid lunch.
