Pay Information

$450 to $550 per hour

About The Position

Interventional Radiology Locums Physician in Louisiana - No Clinic

Interventional Radiology assignment in Louisiana with no clinic, no rounding, and open blocks still available this winter.

Highlights

  • 100% IR; no clinic, no rounding, no diagnostic reads
  • Block assignments this winter; book multiple weeks
  • IMLC accepted, faster credentialing possible

Practice Setting

  • Regional hospital with APP support on site
  • Inpatient-only IR; zero outpatient responsibility
  • Solo IR coverage during assignment
  • Occasional overflow reads if needed (rare)

    • Schedule

  • Weekday shifts from 7a-4p, M-F
  • 24-hour call every other day and weekend
  • Full-time blocks still open; book multiple weeks

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Ports, paras, thoras, biopsies, drains
  • About 5 new consults per day
  • No clinic or follow-up visits

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
  • Louisiana license or IMLC eligibility
  • Active DEA required

    • Travel Accommodations

  • All expenses paid : airfare, hotel, rental car, and mileage
