Full time position includes full benefits (medical, dental and life insurance, retirement plan, paid leave time)

Pay range for full time position (2080 annual hours) :   $49,456.42 - $74,807.27 (hiring rate DOQE)

• Full time position is eligible for hiring incentive pay in the amount of $5,000.00 ($2500 paid after 6 months in position, $2500 paid after 2 years in position).

Position Duties :

This position is responsible for training on a variety of heavy and light equipment in maintaining County roads and bridges for safe and efficient accessible public travel.

Position Requirements :

High school diploma or general education diploma (GED); 1-5 years of service / experience.  Must possess a State of Colorado commercial driver’s license, Class B (minimum) with tanker and airbrakes endorsements. Requirement exists at the time of hire and as a condition of continued employment. Ability to acquire flagging card, MSHA training, enroll in LTAP, first-aid and CPR certification within six months of appointment.
