Description
Skyworks is looking for a hands-on technician to join our Newbury Park Equipment Engineering Team supporting the Fab and Final Process areas. Shift - NBP A2 (Week 1-SUMT 5 : 30pm-5 : 35am); (Week 2-SUMTW 5 : 30pm-5 : 35am)
Responsibilities
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, blueprints, drawings, and operating or repair manuals.
- Performs preventive and routine maintenance and repairs on semiconductor manufacturing equipment following work instructions and manufacturer manuals.
- Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to all production equipment in a specific area.
- Performs electrical / mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical production equipment used in the Fab.
- Performs set-up, calibration, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Rebuilds and repairs manufacturing equipment as required.
- Performs equipment modifications as directed by Equipment Engineering.
- Works on complex assignments requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations to the Engineering community.
- Opporutnity to participate as a contributing member of the Emergency Response Team.
Required Experience and Skills
HS Diploma with 4 years of experience in a production and / or fast paced environment.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a production and / or faced pace environment.Experience with common hand tools as well as various electronic instruments.Ability to lift heavy objects, such as pumps during removal and installation.Pass a respiratory protection medical surveillance examination (if participating on RTT team or secific toolset).Have a depth knowledge, understanding, and support of manufacturing process.Be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.Able to work the overnight and compressed shift.
