The Role : We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Data Scientist to join our General Motor Audit Services team. The ideal candidate will apply advanced analytics machine learning and predictive modeling techniques to enhance audit processes assess risk and deliver actionable insights. You will work across teams to develop tools and models that support audit planning fieldwork and continuous monitoring while contributing to the evolution of data-driven auditing practices.

What Youll Do :

• Design build and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to identify risk indicators and support audit selection and scoping.
• Develop risk assessment frameworks and anomaly detection tools to support internal audit objectives.
• Collaborate with audit teams to understand business processes identify relevant data sources and translate requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Extract clean transform and analyze complex datasets using SQL Python and R .
• Deliver high-quality visualizations and reports that communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical expertise in data science and audit analytics to support strategic audit planning and ongoing risk assessments.
• Independently manage project timelines deliverables and stakeholder expectations.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science audit technology and regulatory requirements
