Melt Shop Process Engineer

Our client, a leader in the metallurgical industry, is seeking a Melt Shop Process Engineer to join their team. As a Melt Shop Process Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting production and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Melt Shop Process Engineer

Location : Beaumont, Texas

Pay Range : $90,000 - $115,000

What's the Job?

• Provide technical coordination support for the Melt Shop, including the development and refinement of operating procedures for the electric arc furnace and caster.
• Collect, interpret, and analyze production data to monitor performance and recommend improvements for efficiency.
• Collaborate with department supervisors and maintenance personnel to ensure optimal operation of all related equipment.
• Assist in the preparation and completion of blueprints for machinery modifications and installations.
• Stay updated on current technologies to recommend changes for continual improvement in production processes.
