Network Engineer - Project Lead

We are seeking an expert-level Network Engineer - Project Lead to join the Technology Services division of a major government services agency. This is a mission-critical role focused on the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of a robust, statewide network infrastructure that supports vital public-facing services.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who can take the lead on complex network solutions, ensuring a stable and consistent architecture that can serve and secure critical programs.

Key Responsibilities (Daily Duties)

• Network Operations : Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting a statewide network ( WAN, LAN, and Wireless ), primarily utilizing CISCO and Meraki technologies.
• System Configuration : Configure, maintain, and patch enterprise-grade CISCO Firewalls (ASA, FirePower series) and Switches (3750, C9500, Nexus series).
• Project Leadership : Work closely with Technology Services architects, application teams, and security teams to design and implement secure network architectures.
• Remote Support : Conduct advanced remote troubleshooting and provide technical guidance to the Agency’s partners and county IT teams.
• Security Focus : Implement and enforce network security measures, ensuring a secure infrastructure to support highly sensitive, mission-critical systems.

Required Qualifications (4-6 Years Experience)
