Robert Half is partnering with a high-growth organization in the food sector, and we are seeking an experienced accounting manager to join their team on a permanent placement basis. This position is fully onsite in their office in Woodland Hills, CA.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Play a vital role in the month-end close process through preparation, review, and analysis of accounting entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with GAAP and all applicable financial regulations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for leadership reporting.
• Lead internal / external audits and coordinate with auditors.
• Implement and continuously improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Supervise and mentor staff across the accounting team.
• Partner cross-functionally with finance and other teams to support company initiatives.
• Work closely with the CFO on special projects, ERP enhancements, internal controls, and ad hoc requests.

Qualifications :

Core Requirements : Month-end close, general ledger, audits, account reconciliation, journal entries, Sage Intacct, management, CPA, public accounting.
