Moodle Technical SME

A company is looking for a Moodle Technical Subject Matter Expert / Developer.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the technical authority on Moodle Workplace solutions, providing expertise in configuration, administration, and integration

Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements aligned with Army training goals

Manage Moodle Workplace configuration, including development of new plugins and troubleshooting advanced technical issues

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience

3+ years of direct experience in Moodle administration, configuration, and customization

Proven experience troubleshooting Moodle Workplace beyond the GUI, including cron job management and PHP debugging in a Linux environment

Proficiency in database development (MySQL / PostgreSQL)

Possession of applicable DoD 8140 cybersecurity workforce qualification or ability to complete within six months
