- Hours are 10pm - 6am, Monday through Friday
The Intelligence Analyst will assist the Intelligence team with providing threat information and analysis for a diverse pool of clients across several sectors.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Providing all-hazards, global threat monitoring, social media monitoring, and analysis to safeguard client critical infrastructure.Preparing real-time alerts and contribute to daily / weekly all-hazards analytical products and event-driven briefs.Conducting extensive data mining, social media monitoring, and comprehensive open-source research as needed, using a broad range of tools and resources.Tracking current events in real time and providing situational awareness to clients and internal leadership.Providing coverage to support the continuous operation of the intelligence department as needed to maintain proper manning levels to support the clients’ needsUse of multi-lingual, geo-enabled, text-analytics, social media and web-monitoring platforms to collect and analyze information to provide clients with real time alerts and weekly reports regarding direct threats to their organization, executives, and affiliatesEvaluate information collected from various social media platforms and open-source media to identify issues on behalf of clients, in determining the range and scope of threats to their interests and infrastructures.Support global protective operations and intelligence functions through monitoring, open source and database research, intelligence management, communication, and escalation as required.Education / Qualifications
Must have experience in intelligence, or a combination of relevant education and work experience (bachelor’s degree preferred)Be a highly skilled communicator with exceptional writing, organizational and reading comprehension skillsHave proven experience in handling large quantities of information from a variety of sources on a tight deadlineAbility to attend training events that fall outside normal work hours.Ability to work 8- or 12-hour shifts both day and nights is a hard requirement – will initially work night shift.Competence with MS Office Suite and other database systems.Must be willing to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality.Have the ability to function in a dynamic environment with constantly changing requirements and expectationsMust be able to effectively and confidently disseminate information to individuals, groups, peers, clients, executives and other appropriate stakeholders.Prepare written research reports in the proper format and with correct grammar and spelling and provide thoughtful analysis of relevant findings.Must be able to deal effectively with clients, and local partners, in normal and diverse situations, using tact and empathy.Ability to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations.
