About The Position
About the Opportunity :
We are seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team on a locum tenens basis. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive oncology and hematology care to adult patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide direct patient care under physician supervision, including assessments, treatment plans, and patient education.
Manage oncology and hematology patients undergoing chemotherapy and infusion therapy.
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and coordinate referrals.
Educate patients and families on cancer treatment plans, survivorship care, and end-of-life planning.
Work collaboratively with oncologists, nurses, and allied health professionals.
Qualifications :
Active, unrestricted NP license in any U.S. state .
National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
BLS, ACLS, and DEA certification required.
Experience in oncology / hematology strongly preferred.
