Fire Suppression Technician

Start as a Fire Suppression Technicians- (Fire Extinguisher & Pre-Engineered) with Summit Fire & Security . This position is responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and installation of Pre-Engineered fire suppression systems and Fire Extinguishers.

Responsibilities:

• Preform inspections, service calls, install, and sales on a variety of fire protection equipment including pre-engineered fire suppression systems, portable fire extinguishers, Emergency/Exit lighting, and other fire protection/life safety equipment
• Develop long-term relationships with customers for customer retention
• Pursue additional sales and service opportunities within existing customer locations
• Educate and advise the customer of compliance needs
• Perform other duties as assigned or delegated

Requirements:

• Previous experience in pre-engineered fire systems- preferred
• Advanced technical school training or related work experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to lift 10-50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• May be exposed to temperature changes, small spaces, and confined spaces
• High school diploma or GED
